OCCC Seeks Donations to Help Students Stay Students
The OCCC Foundation is on a mission to help OCCC students stay students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The foundation is accepting donations for the COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund, which provides financial assistance to OCCC students to help them stay in school. The emergency fund is designed to give students an interest-free loan to cover expenses like rent, utilities, transportation or other essentials.

Oklahoma City Community College donate supplies to local hospital, OHP
The Oklahoma City Community College Division of Health Professions has answered the call to help restock crucial personal protective equipment (PPE) for Oklahoma doctors and nurses battling the COVID-19 pandemic. The college’s donation included 3,200 yellow isolation gowns, 40 single-use stethoscopes, 54 clear safety glasses, and 51 boxes of critically-needed procedure masks–totaling 97,825 masks.

OCCC makes bold changes to improve student success
Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) students are benefiting from changes made across the college to increase student success and help more students achieve their college degrees. At the recent OCCC Board of Regents meeting, the results of changes to the college’s advising model were evident and excitement continues to grow for the shift to predominantly 8-week classes in the upcoming fall semester.
