The Pre-College program is actively monitoring guidance and response to the coronavirus outbreak. We will be in touch with admitted Pre-College students as the situation develops further. Thank you in advance for your patience as we develop our contingency plans. If you would like to view the up-to-date Carnegie Mellon University response to the outbreak, please visit the Coronavirus Information website. If the university determines that it is necessary to cancel the Pre-College program this summer, a full refund will be provided for the program cost.
The Carnegie Mellon Pre-College programs provide learning and development opportunities for high school students both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our Pre-College program, which mirrors the undergraduate experience, gives rising juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore their interests while receiving instruction from acclaimed Carnegie Mellon faculty and staff.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a robust student experience which is curated by Student Affairs staff and a team of residential staff who are current Carnegie Mellon students.
We value the holistic student experience that includes academic and personal development in order to prepare students for the future.
“The Carnegie Mellon Pre-College program was one of the most interesting, amazing, and challenging experiences I’ve had. I loved every second of it and know that I will look back fondly at my time over the summer.” – Gia M, Drama ’19
