Oregon redshirt sophomore quarterback Tyler Shough delivered a strong performance during his first career start on Saturday night.
The No. 11 Ducks won 35-14. Shough produced two touchdowns himself and over 300 yards of total offense.
But there were a few plays he said he would like to have back. Namely an interception. Then there were two other passes that were dropped by Stanford defenders.
These passes shouldn’t necessarily be considered red flags. Shough played well. He appeared to be in command of the offense, made many wise decisions and demonstrated that he could go vertical and run the ball extremely well.
But he remains a work in progress, which isn’t a problem because after this season he will still have three additional years of eligibility given that 2020 will not count against a player’s clock because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Plus, he didn’t have a normal offseason because of
