Pavlak, Kazan, Duffy Still Lead In Wayne Board Of Education Race

WAYNE, NJ — In a close Wayne Board of Education race, three front-runners have materialized, but only a couple hundred votes separate the four candidates.

According to unofficial results from Passaic County, Donald Pavlak, Jr. is leading all candidates with Catherine Kazan and Sean Duffy currently in position to claim the remaining two seats.

Here’s the unofficial tally so far:

  • Donald Pavlak, Jr. — 16,135

  • Catherine M. Kazan — 15,486

  • Sean Duffy — 15,190

  • Abigail Giordano — 14,782

Passaic County posted a note on their website with a bit of guidance for folks seeking updated results.

A dental plate was found by Canadian national Stephen Suntok on the Pacific coast of British Columbia. Evgeny Popov, a renowned expert in chimaerids, was asked to assist in classification.

“The new species and genus is most close to the extant members of Chimaeridae – Chimaera and Hydrolagus. They are quite widely present in the oceans and comprise about 82% of the existing Holocephali fish,” explains Popov.
