Proven model backing Wisconsin, Mississippi State

The fourth-ranked Clemson Tigers welcome potential No. 1 overall 2021 NFL Draft selection Trevor Lawrence back after a two-game COVID-19 absence Saturday on the road when they play the Florida State Seminoles. Lawrence missed both Clemson’s narrow 34-28 victory over Boston College and its 47-40 loss to then-No. 4 Notre Dame after contracting coronavirus, but could maintain his Heisman Trophy candidacy with a strong showing against the Seminoles. Despite missing two games, Lawrence is still 18th nationally with 1,833 passing yards and is 10th in the country with 17 touchdown passes against just two interceptions.

College football picks, odds for Big Ten in Week 12: Ohio State, Wisconsin stay close in marquee games

The Big Ten has been full of surprises over the past month since the conference returned to play. The conference has also been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and last Saturday’s game between Ohio State and Maryland was canceled as a result of an outbreak within Maryland’s football program.

The big matchup that everyone will have their eye on this week will be No. 3 Ohio State playing host to No. 9 Indiana in arguably the most-anticipated game in the Big Ten so far this season. Indiana has been one of the surprises in the conference as its jumped out to a 4-0 record with wins over Michigan and Penn State. The Hoosiers are coming off of a dominant win over Michigan State. If Indiana truly wants to challenge for a spot in the Big Title title game, this one that they’re going to need to win.

How the Electoral College works in Wisconsin, and why it’s unlikely go against the popular vote

Joe Biden has won the popular vote by over 5 million votes, but in the United States, it’s the Electoral College count that really matters. Biden has more than the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win, although recounts are happening in several states.

Coaches Poll top 25: Wisconsin and Northwestern move up as top 11 holds in college football rankings

The new Coaches Poll is out, and not a whole lot has changed. With so many top 25 teams not playing over the weekend, plus no major upsets, there wasn’t much room for teams to maneuver. In fact, the top 11 teams remain the same as last week.

We don’t see any movement until we get to No. 12, where we find Wisconsin. The Badgers climbed two spots in the poll after stomping Michigan 49-11 on Saturday night on the road. This week’s highest climber in the poll — among teams that were already ranked — is Northwestern, which moved up three spots to No. 20 after a 27-20 road win against a Purdue team that entered the game 2-0.

The only newcomers to the poll this week are No. 24 North Carolina, which beat Wake Forest 59-53 in a glorified seven-on-seven drill, and No. 25 Louisiana is back in

College football rankings: Notre Dame up to No. 2, Wisconsin and Oregon enter top 10 of CBS Sports 127

CBS Sports Graphic

Notre Dame has continued to check all the boxes you’d like to see from a national championship contender. The Fighting Irish’s latest move is knocking Ohio State down a peg and jumping up to No. 2 in the CBS Sports 127 following their latest impressive win.

Beating Clemson in double-overtime is going to garner some attention from the CBS Sports 127 voters, a collection of CBS Sports and 247Sports experts tasked with ranking the entire FBS landscape, but following that up with a solid performance avoiding the letdown at Boston College was an affirming moment in Notre Dame’s season. It’s not just that the Irish won on the road in a tricky spot on the schedule but how they looked on the field, particularly on offense. Ian Book is playing the best football of his career at the perfect moment for Notre Dame’s pursuit of an ACC

ESPN College GameDay crew, including Desmond Howard, predicts Wisconsin win over Michigan

Even former Michigan receiver Desmond Howard has lost confidence in the Wolverines after two straight losses.

In a surprising move, the ESPN college football analyst predicted a Wisconsin victory over Michigan on Saturday morning’s College GameDay show.

Howard, who is in his 16th season with the ESPN, has rarely picked against his alma mater on ESPN’s popular pregame show, but the Wolverines are entering Saturday’s game coming off back-to-back losses against Michigan State and Indiana in which they allowed more than 400 yards in each.

And while the 13th-ranked Badgers (1-0) haven’t played since Oct. 23 and will likely be missing several players because of COVID-19, they did look impressive in their 45-7 season-opening win against Illinois.

“I don’t have much confidence in the back end of Michigan’s defense,” Howard said on Saturday’s show. “I’m going with the Wisconsin Badgers.”

Fellow analysts Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso were stunned by

Teen Arrested For Sexual Assault Of Concordia University Wisconsin Student In Dorm

An 18-year-old student of Concordia University Wisconsin was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a fellow-student in a dormitory where the latter lived.

The complaint obtained by Fox 6 stated that the victim was working on a class project and the accused, Kevin Williams, was watching a movie and studying at the dorm when he allegedly touched her inappropriately. She then “had to use a lot of strength” to get his hands off her. The accused then allegedly pushed her to the floor and sexually abused her.

Shortly afterward, the victim alerted the police and an officer was dispatched to the university on Nov. 5. The officer met the alleged victim and noticed “bruising” on various parts of her body.

After an initial inquiry, a search warrant was executed at Williams’ dorm on the campus. According to the media outlet, Williams “pulled away and tried to get away” when the arrest
